Hollyfood (welcome to)
Nel titolo c’è il gioco di parole che fonde il nome Hollywood (il tempio dell’immagine cinematografica) e Food (trad. cibo). Per tanto “Welcome to Hollyfood” è una collezione di foto ricordo estratte dall’album di una (grassa) coppia che ha partecipato a una delle classiche gite turistiche nella patria dei cibi ad alto contenuto calorico.
Titoli delle foto come “Mary and I at the Mustard Falls” (trad. “Io e Mary alle Cascate di Senape”), oppure “Mrs. Thompson, Harold and I, climbing the French Fries stairs” (trad. “La Signora Thompson, Harold e me scaliamo la gradinata di Patatine Fritte”) rendono ancora più grottesca la galleria.
The title is a word game, mixing the name of Hollywood (the temple of cinematography) with the word Food. Therefore “Welcome to Hollyfood” is a collection of “souvenir” pictures, from the photo album of a (fat) couple who have taken part to a typical tourist trip in the home of high-calorie foods.
Titles, such as “Mary and I at the Mustard Falls” or “Mrs. Thompson, Harold and I, climbing the French Fry stairs”, make this photo gallery even more grotesque.
