Nella Pozza (puddle) si specchia la società dei fast-food.
Nel video The Puddle [durata min 1:57] l’immagine è stata rovesciata per tanto le persone che passano nell’inquadratura sembrano vivere in un livello superiore, quasi degli Dei in un Olimpo che giudicano chi sta sotto. Tra i passanti alcuni, pochi, guardano “giù” spezzando il brusio distratto, queste forse sono le uniche che si rendono conto dell’assurdità: del fatto che sono solo un’immagine riflessa in una pozza putrida; ma alla fine tutti camminano indietro sui propri passi in una folle involuzione temporale; un lento rewind che contrasta con la logica fast-forward della cultura fast-food.

In the video-work The Puddle [duration 1:57 min] images have been rotated upside-down, so the people moving across the screen seem to live at a higher level, as is they were Gods in an Olympus, judging whoever lives below. Some, very few, of the passers-by look “down” breaking the distracted buzz. These are perhaps the only persons realizing this absurdity, that they are only a reflection in a putrid puddle. However, eventually they all walk back where they started in a crazy time involution; a slow rewind, clashing with the fast-forward logic within the fast-food culture.
