Private Eden
Una Natura inquinata da telecamere a circuito chiuso (CCTV) che spiano tutto. Un Eden Privato, dove nulla è privato, dove tutto è controllato, come il giardino dell’Eden originale, dove il tocco della mela fece scattare l’allarme.
E’ forse questo l’unico sistema per proteggere la Natura dall’Uomo e per proteggere l’Uomo da se stesso? Come nelle nostre città dove sicurezza fa rima con controllo. Così come la nostra società, dove il limite tra paura dell’uomo nero e privacy è sempre più labile e non si sa se essere vigilati significa essere al sicuro.
A Nature polluted by CCTV cameras spying everything. A private Eden where nothing is private, where everything is controlled; just like the original Garden of Eden, where the touch of an apple started the burglar alarm.
Maybe this is the only way to protect Nature from Man, and man from himself? As in our cities, where safety means control; as in our society, where the dividing line between fear of the ”bogeyman” and privacy is less and less clear, and where citizens totally ignore if to be controlled really means to be safe.
