ONLYFOOD
ONLYFOOD (da Only-Food = Solo-Cibo) è il paese dove tutto ruota intorno al nutrimento che affoga e annienta ogni pensiero. Per Füster è la trasfigurazione del mondo occidentale dove ormai il cibo non ha più la sua funzione di nutrimento per la sopravvivenza, ma è divenuto simbolo di un appagamento (anche sessuale) che ci culla e ci droga portandoci al torpore mentale.
La foto qui proposta fa parte della serie omonima dove l’immagine è ripetuta con variazioni.
Tra queste: la versione con l’elicottero che trasporta l’hot-dog, l’attacco degli Ufo-pancakes, la salsiccia infilata nell’antenna, l’orsetto gommoso gigante, etc…
La serie ONLYFOOD è tutt’oggi in evoluzione.
ONLYFOOD is a country where everything revolves around nourishment, drowning and annihilating all thoughts and ideas. For Füster, this is the transfiguration of the Western world, where by now food has no longer its simple function of nutrition for survival, but has become a symbol of (even sexual) fulfillment, which lulls us and drugs us to mind-numbness.
